TK Health Provides Medical Services in Platte County

TK Health now provides medical services for the Platte County Detention Center, making it one of the company’s nearly 140 jails served.

CEO Flint Junod said TK Health officials are happy to partner with the Platte County Sheriff’s Office to provide medical, psychiatry, and dental services at the detention center.

“TK Health already serves multiple counties in Missouri, and we’re pleased to add Platte County to that list,” he said. 

The Platte County Detention Center is in Kansas City, Missouri. The 180-bed facility houses local, state, and federal detainees at various stages of the criminal justice process, according to the detention center’s website. It’s under the direction of the Platte County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Mark Owen.
