TK Health is now the healthcare services provider for the Madison County Jail. The partnership began earlier this month.
TK Health, an Oklahoma-based correctional healthcare company, partners with 144 jails in 14 states to provide medical care. The company has served Arkansas jails since 2016, making Arkansas one of the first states it served outside Oklahoma. Madison County is the company’s 20th partner site in Arkansas.
CEO Flint Junod said TK Health officials are pleased to work with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to provide needed healthcare, including medical and psychiatry services
“We’re excited to work with Sheriff Ronnie Boyd and his team. We look forward to an ongoing partnership to provide healthcare services at the Madison County Jail and hope to work with even more county jails in the state.”
The Madison County Jail is located in Huntsville, Arkansas. It houses about 90 people a day under the direction of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, including the Sheriff and Jail Administrator, Lola Mitchell. The sheriff’s office has served Madison County since 1836.
