TK Health Provides Healthcare for Ford County Jail

TK Health now provides healthcare services for the Ford County Jail. The professional partnership with the Ford County Sheriff’s Office began earlier this month. 

TK Health is an Oklahoma-based correctional healthcare company that serves jails throughout the region. TK Health partners with about 150 jails in 13 states to provide patient care. 

CEO Flint Junod said TK Health officials are pleased to work with Sheriff Bill Carr and his team to provide needed medical services at the jail. 

“We’re happy to continue expanding in Kansas and to serve the people of Ford County by fulfilling the need for quality correctional healthcare services at the jail,” Junod said. 

The Ford County Jail is located in Dodge City, Kansas, and is under the direction of the Ford County Sheriff’s Office. The 256-bed, 80,000-square-foot jail and sheriff’s office space opened in 2009. It’s designed to allow for expansion of up to 500 beds. 

The Sheriff’s Office has served Ford County since 1873, according to its website.
